The effectiveness of the Security Forces of the State in 2009 increased 94.12% in crimes against persons
Local Board of Public Safety of Molina de Segura has held a meeting on Wednesday 27 January, the local council, chaired by the Mayor, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Government Delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar.
In the Board were present also the Chief Executive of the National Police in Murcia, Carlos Llorente Sánchez, Councillor of Public Safety, City Fortunato Arias, the Deputy Chief of Local Police, José Pérez Almagro, the Chief Inspector of Police National Police in Molina de Segura, Antonio Bernabe Sanchez, the commander of the Civil Guard post in Molina de Segura, Marcelino Alvarez Barrios, the spokesmen of the socialist municipal groups and the United Left, a representative of the Federation of Interbarrios neighbors, and the Secretary General of the Council.
In this Board has approved the new Public Safety Local Plan Molina de Segura, prepared in compliance with the Agreement on Security Cooperation signed between the Ministry of Interior and the City molinense, to strengthen cooperation between police Local Bodies and State Security Forces for the effectiveness of them.
This agreement involves joint action programs and planned, such as the exchange of police information between the Guardia Civil and Local Police in Molina de Segura.
This allows both police can consult their respective databases in areas such as legal requisitions, missing persons, stolen vehicles and other issues of justice.
It also allows intercommunication between rooms 062 and 092, and the joint use of offices and citizen complaints, in order to optimize human resources services common to both bodies.
Among the topics discussed at the meeting, the Deputy Minister has informed that during 2009 increased by 94.12% the effectiveness of law enforcement in crimes against persons, about 50% in total crime.
He also highlighted that there was an increase of 26.80% on average in the number of people arrested for crimes and misdemeanors, particularly significant increase in arrests for crimes against persons, which increased by 63.64%.
It has also highlighted the good work of the Security Forces of the State, in 2009, held a 89.93% increase in claims for possession and consumption of drugs.
The staff of the National Police Commissioner Molina de Segura has increased over the past three years by 22.30% from 68 agents in 2007 to 79 in 2009.
