Vicente Blanes Ecological Park is close to the families of Molina de Segura this fall (25/09/2009)

With the arrival of fall, the Natural Environment Service and Environmental Protection of the City of Molina de Segura presented the program of activities Molina feels the nature of family, designed for communication and dissemination among the population molinense Ecological Park Vicente Blanes.

The last Sunday of September, October and November, families, friends and anyone who wishes can feel the nature around them.

Be guided by an environmental educator, and there will be interesting itineraries and fun workshops to show the smallest and all participants another way to meet and enjoy the natural environment of this town, especially Vicente Blanes Ecological Park.

From the Department of Environment wants to involve citizens in Molina de Segura in increasing the biodiversity of the park and its surroundings and improve the habitats of this nature through his knowledge.

The activities begin on Sunday 27 September with a workshop on identifying native plants found in the arboretum as well as a journey to discover the rich flora of the park: mastic, black hawthorn, strawberry, carob trees, medicinal and aromatic plants.

Continue on Sunday 25 October, with another workshop for the recognition of birds that fly through the sky of the natural environment, listening to his song and watch its flight.

And finally, the program ends on Sunday 29 November with a visit to the Classroom of the Nature's Landing High and his exhibition of fossils and minerals, plus a workshop of decorative natural elements contained in the itineraries.

Councillor for the Environment, Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer, "this is an opportunity to bring families the natural beauty of our city park Vicente Blanes, or daring to look the other way corner and wealth, contributing to their conservation."

The starting point for activities will be the Nature's Classroom High's Landing, from 10.00 to 13.00.

The activities are free, but to participate you must RSVP before 5 days of activity.
