Four students of the IES Francisco de Goya de Molina de Segura go to the National Competition for Young Researchers (29/07/2009)

Four students of a second Bachelor of Secondary School Francisco de Goya, de Molina de Segura, have been selected to participate in the XXII Contest 'Young Researchers', whose winners will participate in the European Union Contest for Young Scientists.

The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, received this morning to the authors of the works' Women in Classical Antiquity ', Susana Gómez Rivera and Yolanda Contreras, and' Listen with your eyes, "Benedict and Laura Consuelo Romera, who have been both Murcia projects of the 40 works selected across the country.

The counselor took the occasion of the students to instill courage and to show their sincere support, while acknowledging their efforts in this stage of education.

Awards for students and teachers

The competition that awards prizes of between 1,000 and 6,000 euros to students who have distinguished themselves by their work in any branch of scientific knowledge, including the areas of Life Sciences, Space Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and the teachers and institutions have outstanding work in promoting careers in science among students.

The three works that represent Spain at the XXII edition of the European Union Contest for Young Scientists to be held in September 2010 will be selected from among all candidates.
