The festival program presented Friday at the Pub Celeste, includes musical performances by Nena Daconte, Macaque, Pastora Soler, LIVERPOOL, local groups, operettas and the fifth edition of the B Side Festival of Independent Music
The FESTIVAL OF MOLINA DE SEGURA will start on Saturday 5 September, the traditional pilgrimage Rise of the Patron of the town, Our Lady of Consolation Shrine from orchard to the Church of the Assumption.
Today, Friday 24 July at the Pub Celeste, took place the official presentation of the festivity, an act that was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor of Celebration, Mariola Martinez Robles, Councilmember Sports, Jesus Maeso Monge, and Youth and Tourism Councillor, Sonia Carrillo Marble.
The festivities will last until Monday 21 September, a holiday in the resort, with the return of the patron saint of Molina de Segura to Ermita.
During these days, molinense and visitors can enjoy an attractive and varied program of festivities and sports, whose budget amounts to 400,000 euros.
Music will be, once again, the main attraction of the festivities molinense, high-level performances.
As a novelty, the concert hall will be located this year in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, except for the B Side Festival, to be held at the Municipal Field Sanchez Canovas.
Artists such as Nena Daconte act, Macaco, Pastora Soler, the Liverpool band, and local groups, among others.
The Proclamation of Festivals this year will be borne by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia, José María Jiménez Cano molinense and will take place on Thursday 10 September at the Teatro Villa de Molina.
The Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, has expressed his desire "that every molinense as the many visitors who expect to arrive from all corners of the region enjoy the holidays and our city, taking advantage of any of the activities that City Council has scheduled.
