The new reusable bags for waste separation at home, promoted by the Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura, have been presented at a press conference today, Thursday 16 July, by the Councillor for the Environment, Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer.
This action is part of the communication program on the separate collection 2009, the result of the agreement signed between the city of Molina de Segura and Ecoembalajes Spain SA (Ecoembes).
The Department of Environment, through the Urban Environment Service and the Environmental Education Service, will distribute 7,500 sets of reusable bags for waste separation at home.
The bags are fitted with handles for easy installation in washrooms, kitchens and small locations, as well as for transport to the specific containers in the street.
Each set contains two bags, one for yellow and blue light containers for paper and cardboard.
The bags have printed information on the waste to be deposited in each of the containers and separate collection at home.
They also incorporate instruction on its use, highlighting the fact that they are reusable and should not be throwing the container.
Attached is a brochure with detailed information on what wastes should be deposited in each container.
The Communication Program separate collection actions performed each year for training, information and awareness, with the theme in Molina de Segura, everything in place.
In this new edition, we would stress the importance of giving new life to the packaging and the need to separate and place each residue in the respective container to make it happen.
