The Councillor of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura has made a visit to the refurbishment and expansion of the Municipal Tourist Hostel in the hamlet of The Landing on Wednesday July 8 at the Ecological Park Vicente Blanes.
The City Council conducts molinense this project as a new impetus to its policy of promoting tourism in the county, by improving infrastructure and tourist facilities.
The reason for the modification of these facilities is the extension of the existing 30 seats to 54, plus other performances in the kitchen, multipurpose room, laundry and handicapped accessibility, so that they can enjoy all those people who want local in nearby towns or anywhere in the region or elsewhere, allowing the host to any tourist, groups, associations, etc.
The session molinense received a grant of 150,000 euros from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Region of Murcia, through the Directorate General of tourism infrastructure, destination tourism infrastructure and facilities to carry out multi-year project, amounting in total to EUR 212,112.60.
The municipal contribution is EUR 62,112.60.
The works have been awarded to Metal Structures John Doe and Sons Ltd.
The Municipal Tourist Hostel is located in the Ecological Park Vicente Blanes.
