The City of Molina de Segura and Sports Club and organized the first Congress Disability Sport and Disability, which aims to analyze the current situation of different stimulation programs during the first years of life, physical education programs Fitness & Sports Health
Modernization and the High Performance Sports in Persons with Intellectual Disability (Mental Retardation, Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, Down Syndrome and other disabilities) and Mental Health.
The event will be held on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December at the Centro Las Balsas (Calle Cartagena, Barrio del Sagrado Corazón).
The opening ceremony of the First Congress and Disability Sport will take place on Friday 12 December at 15.30 hours, and attend the town Mayor Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor for Sports, Jesus Maeso Monge, and the Councillor for Social Welfare, Worship Molina López.
The objectives of the conference are:
About the progress taking place in physical activity programs, aquatic and adapted sports.
Implications for parents, associations, public institutions and other actors in the development of exercise programs, aquatic and sports for the care of people with disabilities.
The conference is aimed at the different professionals of Education, Physical Activity and Sport, as well as relatives of people with disabilities.
The organization will provide families a respite.
The closing ceremony will be held on Saturday 13 December at 20.30 hours, and attended by Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and Social Policy Adviser, Women and Migration, Joaquín García Bascuñana.
