The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Environment, participates in the Project Book.
Share recycling culture, promoted by the Directorate General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control from the Ministry of Agriculture and Water and with the collaboration of the Office for Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Education, Development and Employment.
This project is an initiative to collect books and materials, that will be reused by others in schools and social centers for Spanish-speaking countries.
This action is intended to give a second chance to materials no longer in use and help promote education in other countries.
It includes diverse material, such as collections of books, stories, books and school supplies, encyclopedias, dictionaries, notebooks unused pencils, crayons, wax, backpack in good condition, etc.
From the Department of Environment is coordinating the dissemination, collection points in schools and public buildings, the distribution of containers, collection of material in collaboration with the Department of Public Highways, and the recruitment of volunteers to perform the classification and packaging the material collected.
Citizens can participate being one of the 25 points collected books and materials or as part as a volunteer to sort and grade appropriate material.

The Councillor for the Environment, Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer, thanked "the collaboration at 18 schools attached to the project which have informed parents and students themselves have achieved a great turnout.
Also by special note is the work of the 12 volunteers who have joined the project and have already sorted and packaged the two and a half tons of books and school supplies collected.
In this task of attracting volunteers have enjoyed the cooperation of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations Interbarrios.
We also appreciate the cooperation of Sercom as ECOPARQUE management company, facility that is doing the sorting and packaging of the collected material. "
Until December 15 can carry books and school supplies to collection points to the January 5 ECOPARQUE directly.
"We encourage people to participate as volunteers to all those people who want to support a charitable initiative at the environmental, social and educational," concluded Councillor.
