The Ministry of the Presidency and government has contributed 100,000 euros to the project of the new headquarters of Civil Protection of Molina de Segura, which opened its doors today and from which the municipal service of emergency care will continue to assist citizens the locality.
The head of the Ministry, Maria Pedro Reverte, and the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, inaugurated this morning the new premises, located on an area of 300 square meters on the Range The Walled.
The new infrastructure will house the offices of the Association of Civil Defence Volunteers and other areas, such as meeting rooms, locker rooms and warehouses.
In their design, have also set up areas to accommodate the rescue canine unit, and the vehicles used by local emergency service, which is made by a technician and the 30 members of the Association of Volunteers.
Among other resources, the Civil Protection Service of Molina de Segura has a command vehicle, two jeeps, two vans (one for passenger transport and one for the canine unit) and a motorcycle.
Add to this transmission equipment and other materials for assistance in emergencies.
