The special program of activities organized by the Department of Culture and Festivities of the City of Molina de Segura on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas 2008/2009, which has a prominent role XII Choral Festival Villancicos de Molina, has been released today Friday 28 November.
The presentation was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor for Culture and Festivities, Mariola Martinez Robles, and the Director of the Kodály Coral (Choral Festival organizer), José Bermejo Martinez.
For the second consecutive year, the Christmas program includes the installation of an Ice Rink in the Park Company, the London shopping and leisure Vega Plaza will remain open to the public from November 28, 2008 until 6 January 2009.
The cost of entry is 5 euros per hour.
For his part, XII Choral Festival Villancicos de Molina, organized by the City molinense and coordinated by the Coral Kodály, takes place on Friday 12 and Saturday December 13 at the Teatro Villa de Molina (at Avenida del Chorrico, n º 10) .
The entrance fee is 4 euros.
On Friday 12 December at 20.30, will be the children's choir performance of Vivaldi Cor.

The Choral Festival Villancicos de Molina emerges as a logical result of the important choral activities with which the municipality.
With its announcement, the Department of Culture intends to continue promoting the development of a cultural practice which involves a great number of citizens of Molina.
In the year 2008, the competition becomes a festival, trying to find new ways to ensure increased quality and number of sessions offered.
The intention is to invite choirs proven track record, as those who visit the town this year, maintaining the common bond of Christmas Carols de Molina, to be sung by the choirs individually and jointly.
In the near future is to become international festival to enrich the presence of distant choruses of backgrounds and at the same time, spreading beyond our borders the music of Molina de Segura.
With this issue begins molinense Festival screening of other institutions in the region.
So, on Sunday 14 December, will perform at the Auditorio de Murcia Regional choir Taldea Kup (Basque Country) in collaboration with the Federation of Choirs of the Region of Murcia.
As human support and technical advice / musical of this festival, the Culture Department has the support of one of the oldest choirs in the city, Kodály Choir, choir at all times has shown an overall availability for this collaboration will bear fruit growing.
