Local Board of Public Safety of Molina de Segura has held a meeting on Thursday 27 November, in the local council, chaired by the Mayor, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Government Delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar.
In the Board were present also the Chief Executive of the National Police in Murcia, Carlos Llorente Sánchez, Councillor of Public Safety, City Fortunato Arias, the Deputy Chief of Local Police, José Pérez Almagro, the Chief Inspector of Police National Police in Molina de Segura, Antonio Bernabe Sanchez, the commander of the Civil Guard post in Molina de Segura, Marcelino Alvarez Barrios, the spokesmen of the socialist municipal groups and the United Left, a representative of the Federation of Interbarrios neighbors, Juan José Pineda Martinez, and Secretary General of the City accidental.

For its part, the Civil Guard headquarters has 34 agents, the last ten incorporated last August.
During the working day, the local police is responsible for monitoring and regulating traffic, paying special attention to entrances and exits of schools and roads where most concentrated commercial and service centers.
Surveillance and punishment of the rules established in the bylaws, the monitoring of municipal buildings, the making of crowded traffic accidents and crimes against the security of the monitoring and sanctions and environmental standards are other of the tasks of local police.
We must also mention the role of the Judicial Police who carried out as relief of the six courts of the city and all those others who need their services.
As for the major administrative task, both with the aforementioned courts as with other municipal departments and other agencies, is made by the local police.
