The Public School San Miguel de Molina de Segura participating in the campaign for the eradication of child malnutrition of Doctors Without Borders (25/11/2008)

The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, visited, on Tuesday 25 November, the Public School San Miguel, which is involved in the campaign launched by Doctors Without Borders for the eradication of child malnutrition.

During the visit you have been with the Councillor for Social Welfare, Worship Molina Lopez, and the Councillor for Health, Lola Vicente Quiles.

During this campaign, has spoken to the children of world hunger and the work carried out by NGOs.

In addition, from Tuesday, November 18, all persons who accompany students to school, meet, just enter the hall, a bar where the motto: coffee today is inviting a child from the Third World.

It can buy a dummy and colored and cut (by the students of Infant and First Cycle of Primary Education) and access to the center, accompanied by a volunteer, to put the puppet on the wall made for the purpose (a grid Giant in each box holds 39 puppets).

Are also invited to go to any of the two computer rooms in the center and sign the letter to the Government.

In these classrooms there is a child by computer and two separate coordinators to perform the computation of the signatures collected per day.

Simultaneously, in the hall, continuously projected the videos of the campaign.

The classroom is managed, also, by student volunteers.

These three actions are performed in conjunction with the entry and exit of students at the school.

Child malnutrition affects over 20 million children worldwide.

Every day over 10,000 children die from diseases related to it.
