The expansion of the Municipal Health Clinic Juan Antonio Serrano López de La Alcayna, in Molina de Segura, was inaugurated on Monday November 24, next to the Church of Urbanization The Alcayna.
The event was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Minister of Health of the Region of Murcia, María Ángeles Palacios Sánchez, and the Councillor for Health, Lola Vicente Quiles.
Following expansion work, the office has: 5 doctor visits, 3 pediatric visits, 3 visits nursing adult, 2 pediatric nurse consultations, a consultation of priests and extractions and a meeting room.
Will serve about 12,000 residents of La Alcayna, Altorreal, Los Conejos, El Chorrico, El Romeral / Casa del Cura, the Brave, Los Olivos and Montepríncipe.
The building has with 921 square meters of total built area (550 square meters belong to the extension).
The works have been executed by the company Jarquil, and the budget amounts to 877,430.
The Autonomous Community of Murcia has contributed 424,000 euros, and the rest has been funded by the city of Molina de Segura.
