The Department of Effective Equality of Women and Men of the City of Molina de Segura, in the V Programme of Prevention of Violence against Women, has organized the Second Solidarity March against Violence against Women, to be held on Sunday 23 November International Day Against Violence Against Women s.

Departure will be at 10.00 hours, from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, and the march will travel different neighborhoods in Molina de Segura where neighbors have developed various acts of rejection of gender violence.

The march will end about 12.00 pm in the Town Hall Square, with the reading of a manifesto and action of the pilgrims' choir in the city.

Councillor for Effective Equality of Women and Men, Lola Vicente Quiles, explains, "is the second time that organizes an activity of this kind in our city, and the nice thing is that are those who have prepared molinense activities."

The Councillor also expressed his hope that "each year to change the route of the march, to cover as many neighborhoods as possible, since it is a good way to educate and involve the public in an activity that everyone can participate.

I hope that people respond and go to the march as a way to express their revulsion towards gender violence. "
