The PSOE presented a package of initiatives and measures to tackle the crisis Molina and criticizes the lack of answers and leadership of the City Council to initiate recovery (14/11/2008)

The Secretary General of the PSOE and current municipal spokesman, Antonio Gomariz, today introduced a package of measures to ensure that the City begin to take seriously the economic crisis, is put in front of it and lead the economic recovery.

For the PSOE, the number one priority is to support job creation in Molina de Segura.

In late October 3730 had almost stopped, 1,500 more unemployed by the end of October 2007 and there had been 500 contracts less.

Gomariz Antonio said that "too many facts and figures abound, have jumped all alarms and some have failed because the City has been caught looking the other way."

The Socialist Party calls the Municipal Budget 2009, aimed at creating employment, strengthening social policies and develop the local economy.

The PP is a proposed budget for 2009 that seems completely oblivious to the crisis in Molina and its magnitude.

The proposed budget could be another year either, suffice as an example that investments are not only them, but even down, even slightly.

The City Council has been ruled by the worst set of responses: silence and uncertainty, with an obvious lack of messages and guidance and what and how should I do to reduce the impact of the crisis and overcome Molina.

The Secretary General has stated that the socialist crisis is much harder with young people because there is a 60% increase in unemployment over the past six months in this group (1,021 unemployed in October 2008 compared to 637 in October 2007) .

It is in these moments when you need a council with leadership and a strong City Council.

The PSOE proposes to form a committee of analysis, evaluating proposals and the crisis in Molina, with the participation of experts, unions, companies and representatives of other economic sectors, agricultural and social.

It also proposes a radical reform of the Economic and Social Council, to have new analysis tools, an observatory, proposals that would enhance their role in the economy and society molinense.

Antonio Gomariz said that the PSOE will all these thoughts and actions to an extraordinary plenary session to the end of the year begin to be implemented.

In the coming days, the PSOE will present concrete proposals to offer collaboration and cooperation in overcoming the crisis, which should be achieved in terms of:

Adopt measures to support enterprises Molina

promote local economic activity;

available industrial land urgently in good condition at the disposal of businesses and industries;

encourage the hiring;

reducing taxes and economic sectors that create jobs and help develop the local economy;

request the Regional Government non-contributory pensions rise above the CPI;

contain more municipal spending

or sit down and talk with financial institutions Molina to engage in any economic recovery Molina.

In short, the PSOE requests that the City was put in charge of the crisis in Molina, to set as its main objective to create employment and that the 2009 Budget will focus on employment, social spending, housing and businesses.
