Inauguration of the new Secondary School in Lumera Linares Eduardo Molina de Segura (04/11/2008)

The new Secondary School Linares Eduardo Molina de Segura Lumera has been opened today Tuesday 4 November, Calle El Quijote del Barrio of Molineta.

The event was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Minister for Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca Carrascosa, and the Councillor for Education, Mariola Martinez Robles.

The center has 16 classrooms of Secondary Education (ESO) and 6 classrooms Bachelor of Visual and Performing Arts and Training Course.

During the current academic year 2008/2009, there are a total of 107 enrolled students: 3 groups of first year of ESO (83 students), and 1 group of first year of high school (24).

The rest of educational facilities of the institute are: classroom technology, classroom Plumier (computer science), music classrooms, special classrooms for the Bachelor of Visual and Performing Arts, Library, auditorium, indoor sports pavilion and two outdoor sports courts free.

The investment made by the Autonomous Community of Murcia amounts to 4,687,000 euros, and the works have been executed by the company Ferrovial Agroman SA The building has 3 floors with a total built area of 6,112 meters square (5412 meters useful square) on a municipal site of 10,000 square meters.

He studied medicine and pharmacy in Madrid, where he lived intensely environments and cultural events and sports, while attending classes Ramón y Cajal, Histology professor since 1892 at the University Complutense of Madrid.
