The City of Molina de Segura signed nine cooperation agreements with social organizations to receive grants for a total of 247,934 euros (30/10/2008)

The City of Molina de Segura has signed nine cooperation agreements with the Immigration Platform Molina de Segura, Carlos Soriano Foundation, Spanish Red Cross in the Region of Murcia, Jesus Dropped the Foundation Board of Murcia, the Association for Integration Disability Social (TEDIS), Association for the Treatment of Cerebral Palsy (ASTRAPACE), Red Cross Local Assembly Molina de Segura, Caritas Interparroquial de Molina de Segura and the Association of Relatives and Mentally Ill de Molina (AFESMO), which have been signed today Thursday 30 October at the Plenary Hall of the City Council, Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and representatives of the nine institutions mentioned, namely: Irene Torres Rodríguez, President of the Platform Immigration Molina de Segura, Ramon Gil Jara, President of the Foundation Carlos Soriano, Aurelio Luna Maldonado, President of the Office of the Spanish Red Cross Autonomous Region of Murcia, José Fernández López, President of the Foundation Trust Jesus Forsaken, María Pilar Gallego García, President of TEDIS, Rosa Garcia Iniesta, President of ASTRAPACE, Marcos Andrés García Fernández, President of the Assembly Local Red Cross, José Luis Leante Sánchez, Director of Caritas in the Region of Murcia, and Delia Topham Reguera, President AFESMO.

The ceremony was also attended by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Worship Molina López.

The total amount of subsidies granted by the City through these agreements amounted to 247,934 euros.

The partnership with the Immigration Platform Molina de Segura is on the development of a Program to Open and Commissioning of the Office of Rental Housing in 2008.

The City Council makes a contribution of 23,000 euros and the Platform of Immigration is committed to developing this program, social, aimed at encouraging and promoting the housing problems in those groups with access to housing.

This is a new path towards the elimination of social inequalities, helping the groups at risk of exclusion to access the housing rental market.

The Foundation is committed to provide at least two places residents in the center, which will be selected by the municipal social services among elderly people in the municipality.

The City provides 40,034 euros.

The Telecare service will be provided from the Central Alarm Service Red Cross, continuously 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

The partnership with the Foundation Trust Jesus Forsaken of Murcia is on the reception of homeless people and those who lack resources and do not receive financial benefits.

The City provides 6,500 Euros and the Foundation is committed to world attention to poverty and marginalization.

Another is the agreement signed agreements of cooperation with the Association for Social Integration of Disabled Persons (TEDIS) to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities, promoting the maximum development of their individual capabilities and encouraging full family integration, social and labor, all through the activities and workshops to develop an occupational center of town.

The City Council made a financial contribution of 16,000 euros, while TEDIS is committed to fulfilling the object of the agreement.

The partnership with ASTRAPACE is on the development of a Program for Persons with Disabilities for the treatment of children aged 0 to 4 years in need of stimulation techniques for early 2008.

The City Council made a financial contribution of 76,400 euros, while ASTRAPACE is committed to implementing the program, providing adequate staff for it (a psychologist, whose duties include management and service coordination, physical therapist, rehabilitation functions, an educator with features of stimulation, and a speech therapist, rehabilitation functions of language).

This program is carried out in the Municipal Early Childhood Center, located on the underside of the Social Center of the District of El Castillo de Molina de Segura, in morning and afternoon (from 9.00 to 13.30 and from 15.30 to 19.00 hours) full year 2008, except August, which is considered holiday period and during the dates of Christmas.

The partnership with Red Cross Local Assembly of Molina de Segura is on the Partnerships for Development Program with the Program Concilia Immigrant, with the aim of facilitating the integration of immigrant labor market.

Includes a contribution of 15,000 euros by the municipality of Molina de Segura for 2008.

Red Cross, meanwhile, is committed to working with the Migrant Program through the support of Conciliation.

For its part, the Cooperation Agreement between the city of Molina de Segura and Caritas Interparroquial de Molina de Segura is on the development of Project Reception and Urgent Care for Immigrants. Interparroquial Caritas is committed to developing and implementing a Project Reception and Urgent Care for Immigrants in the town of Molina de Segura.

For its part, the local council is committed to providing an economic partnership of 25,000 euros.

Finally,

Collaboration Agreement between the city of Molina de Segura and the Association of Relatives and Mentally Ill of Molina de Segura (AFESMO) refers to the development of Collective Housing Service for Immigrants with Mental Illness.

AFESMO Association, through the agreement signed, is committed to developing and providing the service of collective housing for immigrants suffering from mental illness Molina de Segura in order to facilitate their personal recovery and their social integration.

The amount will bring the City is 10,000 euros.
