The act of Awards Energy Region of Murcia, which grants the Energy Management Agency of the Region of Murcia, will be held on Wednesday 15 October at 12:30, on the campus of IFEPA (Torre Pacheco) during the Fair Construmurcia.
One of the prizes awarded to the entity driving new renewable energy projects, has been granted to the city of Molina de Segura for the creation of the Centre for Renewable Energy.
The award will be picked by the mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, who is accompanied by the Councillor for the Environment, Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer.
This is the fifth edition of a public recognition awards for initiatives, projects and companies that are contributing to the development of renewable energy and are investing in energy efficiency.
The aim of these awards, which this year are sponsored by the College of Industrial Engineering at the Region of Murcia, is the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency savings and a better understanding of the regional energy situation .
The announcement of these awards includes four categories, each endowed with 2,000 euros.
In the form of Renewable Energy Installation more significant in the Region of Murcia, the award was for his Gestamp Asetym Solar 26MW photovoltaic solar plant, which is an example for society.
In the category of Research in the Field of Renewable Energies, the prize went to Soltec, the development of a solar tracker, a project that is consistent with the spirit of the call.
Energy Efficiency and Rational Use of Energy, is awarded to Comarth, the development of an electric vehicle.
Finally, in the category of entity driving new renewable energy projects, the award was for the municipality of Molina de Segura for carrying out activities in renewable energy.
