The Board welcomes Municipal Jail RUN exposure (pardon me), Michael Llamas, from 9 to 31 October (08/10/2008)

RUN exposure (pardon me), Michael Llamas, organized by the Culture Department of the City of Molina de Segura, will be open from 9 to 31 October, Monday to Friday, 12.00 to 14.00 hours and 18.00 to 21.00 pm in the Municipal Exhibition Hall Jail (in Calle Cervantes, n º 5).

The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday 9 October at 20.00 hours and will be entertained by a poetry reading and musical performance by the group Café de Ceda.

Since the 90's, the work of artist Miguel Llamas Yeste (Velez Rubio, 1951) has become part of the landscape of the Region of Murcia, thanks to several sculptures of which perhaps the most recognizable is the Monument to Burial of the Sardine, which can be seen in Murcia, partially submerged in the waters of the River Segura.

The Board welcomes Jail on this occasion an exhibition of smaller format, but no less expressive.

The author delves into the mythology particular Spanish bullfighting is characterized by elements such as monteras, flags, Burladero and the actors of the drama: the bull and the bullfighter.

In the hands of Llamas, an inert material such as metal comes to life and movement, resulting in a singular perceiving emotion.

The work of this author did not disdain the humor, masterfully joining with playful depth.
