The First Hospital of Molina Healthcare Forum, organized by the Hospital de Molina in collaboration with the city of Molina de Segura and the Ministry of Health, Region of Murcia, will be held Tuesday 13 May in the Meeting Room of City Hall.
The day was presented at a press conference this Friday 9 May, the mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Managing Director of Hospital de Molina, Francisco Guirado Sánchez.
Professionals in health management and the university will discuss the new management tools to improve the quality of care.
Also on collaboration between public and private sector in health in the Region of Murcia, which has created this new formula to finance and manage health centers.
Model Molina is a privately run system in the service in 90% of public activity that covers most of the health needs of the region of the Vega Media and the cost per capita of 174 euros per year, equivalent less than 15% of total health expenditure per capita.
The Hospital de Molina has already achieved significant recognition and a high level of quality of care, as measured by indicators of satisfaction of patients and workers.
The Forum Program I is:
At 09.30 am: opening ceremony by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Minister for Health of the Region of Murcia, María Ángeles Palacios Sánchez, and the Rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Gómez Cobacho.
At 10.00 am: Conference on New models of health management at European level and in Spain, headed by former Secretary of Health and a lawyer and member of the Spanish Association of Health Law, Julio Sánchez Fierro.
At 10.30 hours: 1 st working group on patient care in the NHS, chaired by the Managing Director of the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca, Manuel Alcaraz Quiñonero.
