The scheduling of activities of the Concert Hall BMOL of Molina de Segura for the spring of 2008 has a new appointment this week with a concert by MUTANT + NOISE BOX KIDS, which will take place on Friday 16 May, 22:30 in the Industrial La Serreta (in Reef Street, corner of Calle Brasilia), with free admission.
Although Niños Mutantes are a worker, the ambitious project to record a collection of singles forced the group to be in the studio, composing, or permanent tour between 2004 and 2005, so they decided to take it easy before preparing new songs and change tactics.
In 2006 and 2007 were spent as the group prepared the songs that contain your new album, which came out in March 2008 and have also used this time to record a couple of versions that completed the other Greatest Hits album, released last year 2007, together with a short tour.
The result of this extended period of reflection has led to an extensive repertoire, which has gone through successive filters to be compressed in an encyclopedic model of 19 tracks, which under a new filter, have left the code down to a total of 13 songs, which are finally displayed on the album.
The recording began in an isolated house in the Alpujarras in November 2007.
Of the Alpujarra, the recording sessions moved to studies Dangerous Recordings (Granada) and, finally, the mixtures have occurred in studies Cinearte (Madrid), all under the supervision of former Fine Oyonarte Enemy.
Production of the new album Niños Mutantes has been long, careful and thorough.
This is his most ambitious work to date and, at least for all those involved in the project, the most successful of many have done so much for the quality of the recording, as the songs themselves, which are among the best already extensive repertoire of the group.
The final edition also contains a DVD with an acoustic performance, recording images, interviews, etc.
