The presentation of the pocket edition of the novel The map of a crime, molinense writer Paco Lopez Mengual, takes place on Thursday, February 11, at 20.00 pm in the Library Salvador García Aguilar Molina de Segura (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 44).

He collaborates as a columnist in the daily La Opinión de Murcia, FM Radio Thader and the Editanet magazine.

In 2014, with publishers Fernando Fernández Villa and Francisco Marín García, founded Ediciones La Fea Bourgeoisie.

It belongs to the association La Molineta Literary and is a member of the Most Noble and Loyal Order of Molina de Segura meteorite.

The map of a crime

The narrator of this story obsessed with a crime that had him as a child: in a village of the Spanish east, thirteen years after the end of the Civil War, the pharmaceutical Maqueda, a mature, wealthy and a Republican last man, will marry a much younger woman.

But a boy, assistant barber, lives secretly in love with this woman.

One Sunday afternoon, when the wedding date approaches, the young man goes out with the razor in his pocket and finds his love rival buying snuff in a kiosk.

The pharmacist dies without knowing who or what killed him.

Fifty years later, the narrator of the story delves into the event, interviewing witnesses to the crime, reveals hidden matters ...;

all this will lead you to discover that the story you had as a child is very different to that known at the end of the novel.
