The Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura has launched a new edition of Communication Program, Training and Environmental Education Selective Waste Collection In Molina, everything in its place, that developed in collaboration with Ecoembes and Address General of Quality and Environmental Assessment of the Region of Murcia.
The program has been presented at a press conference on Wednesday Feb. 3, in the molinense City Council, Councillor for Environment, Reme López Paredes, and representatives of companies that develop the different actions of the program: Virginia Pina Mingorance, deARENARIA Environmental Education ;
Carmen Molina Navarro, Columbares Association;
and Ana Palao Prisons of Ecoespuña SL.
The initiative proposes three main areas of action.
First, offers educational institutions a wide range of environmental education activities related to waste collection and its relation with saving water and energy and climate change, offer included in the program Molina, Discover Your setting within the bloc Discover your city.
The activities are aimed at different educational levels: Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Education.
Through workshops, lectures, research, storytelling for younger, contests and competitions, it is intended that the students acquire knowledge and skills that they can apply in their daily lives in order to contribute to protecting the environment more close and engage the educational community of the municipality with selective collection.

This study involves surveys at street level in two areas of Molina de Segura.
The questions will focus on the involvement of the population in the selective separation, the knowledge they have on separate collection in the municipality and the correct separation of waste, the degree of satisfaction with the pick-up and effectiveness of communication campaigns and awareness developed to date.
To complement this study, the Department of Environment will organize group discussions and debate to gather views and specific proposals.
