In 2004 the president of the Union of Alcaniz offers a JM Irrigation land owned by the City for the construction of a municipal dump.
In 2006, not yet started the construction of the dump's swap some land owned by businessman cited by other proposed municipally owned.
The swap supposed 15.000m2 rustic land owned by 50.385m2 of exchange it is building land zoned for residential use which ended up being 80.000m2 "excess place".
The land was valued at € 755,775 and one year after the land Alcaniz exchanged for the company contributed Fadesa Inmobiliaria worth almost 9 million euros.
Given these facts, the PSOE of Molina de Segura in 2008 filed a complaint with the Office of the Region of Murcia, who considered that there was evidence of a crime, initiating the long judicial process that has led to the allocation of the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras.
As pointed out by the Socialist spokesman, Esther Clavero, "Mayor should resign for not following muddying the image of our city or municipal institution".
Also Clavero expects "all the political groups of the municipal corporation to join this petition."
