Discovered the first plate of the new tourist route Walls talk Walk Talk (24/11/2015)

The mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, accompanied by the councilors of Tourism, Worship Molina, and Education, Maria Jose Hernandez Cano;

CEO of Quality Education and Vocational Training, Fernando Mateo;

the writer Paco Mengual;

and teachers of CEIP Tierno Galvan and El Romeral and concerted Sagrada Familia Center, has discovered the first plate of the new tourist route Walls Walk Talk Talk, sponsored by the Department of Education of the City of Molina de Segura, through the Comenius Project Regio 2013-2015

This route is the completion and outcome of the Comenius Regio Project, for which it has made about QR codes in Spanish and English, based on fictionalized stories molinense writer Paco Mengual.

Teachers in schools partners in this project which also involved the Department of Education of the City of Molina de Segura, the Center for Language and Communication of the Region of Murcia (CPR), and five schools in the city Cardiff, Wales, explained what the work consisted of students of the centers and the place to be located, namely:

CEIP Tierno Galvan: Meteor (Paseo de las Letras, Park Company), the Company (in the Ferris Wheel Park Company), San Pascual Bailon (in the grave), Our Lady of Consolation (in square the Hermitage), El Barco de Leandro (in Plaza de la Ermita) and Hilarito (at Calle Mayor, No. 113-115).

CEIP EL ROMERAL: The Visit of the Cid (in Plaza Cristo Rey), the Alley of Skulls (at Calle San Antonio), the Maita and Uncle Pilín (Mirador del Castillo), The Finger of San Vicente (in Square Church of Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción), Dance of the Masks (in the Casino, Plaza of the Constitution), and Zion The Jewish (in prison, in Cervantes Street, No. 5).

HOLY FAMILY CC: El Gigante (in Paseo Rosales), Uncle Sain (Paseo Rosales), The Secret Labyrinth (in Benavente Street Plaza Cristo Rey), the oven Council (on Calle del Castillo), dear (at Calle Mayor , No. 107), and Lolita Cuenca (in building the checkpoint, in Calle Mayor, No. 81).

The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura now takes over and goes one step further, turning this project into a tourist product for the enjoyment of all molinenses and visitors.

So they create three different programs:

Visiting Program: Aimed at adults and school groups on request at the Department of Tourism.

For school has prepared a gymkhana or 'treasure hunt', in which participants are finding different selected stories 'Walls talk' while conducting an approach to the history of Molina de Segura from the distant past to more recent.

The visits, which will begin at City Hall, van carrying schoolchildren from story to story, as well as through the Center shutters, the Council Oven + Museum Folklore House and Jail House.

TOURIST ROUTE: Open to the public, is available for your enjoyment at any time of the year, facilitating from the Department of Tourism, the brochure with a brief explanation of the activity and the location of the QR Codes on the map of Molina, making it possible to take a tour by all kinds.

Free guided tours: will be made once a month, in collaboration with the Regional Tourist Offices Network of the Region of Murcia, upon registration at the Tourist Office, different themed tours that from 2016 integrate QR codes.

Later we proceeded to discover the first of the 18 plates to be located in emblematic places of Molina de Segura and collect these amazing stories.
