The aim is to strengthen the efficiency and increase the competitiveness of companies molinenses to incur lower costs than if they got their goods and services outside the municipality
The Instituto de Fomento Region de Murcia (Info) strengthen business collaboration in Molina de Segura with the launch of a pilot program that will allow encouraging cooperation between enterprises in the five industrial estates in the municipality.
An initiative whose details were announced after a meeting held today, the general director of Info, Javier Celdrán, and the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras.
To carry out this pilot program, the Info conduct an updated inventory companies each polygon with its capabilities and its specific demands, to encourage purchases and subcontracts in equipment and services are carried out between companies of the same Molina de Segura who can thus meet the needs of their neighbors.
The aim is to strengthen the efficiency and increase the competitiveness of these companies to incur lower costs than if they got the goods and services they need outside the municipality.
The Info allocated 100,000 euros to the implementation of this initiative to create, in the words of Javier Celdrán, "an ecosystem of business collaboration" at the local level.
At present Molina de Segura has five industrial parks with a total of 650 plots, where 410 companies carry out their activity, with a turnover around 1,000 million euros annually.
After checking the results, the info is in the future plans to extend this pilot project to other municipalities in the region.
Also during the meeting Celdrán Javier Molina and the mayor of the possibility that the City Council and the info contribute, together, to the modernization and improvement of facilities of the industrial estates in the municipality was raised.
