Molina Hospital has received, on Wednesday July 15, the certifications of ISO 9001 (System of Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) Standards, UNE 179003 (Risk Management for Patient Safety) and UNE 179006 (System for monitoring, prevention and control of Health Care-Related Infections in hospitals) from the hand of the certification company TÃœV Rheinland.
The event, held at the premises of the Hospital de Molina, has received the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Managing Director of the clinic, Pedro Hernandez Jimenez, Councillor for Public Health of the City molinense, Lola Vicente Quiles, and the Technical Director of Health Area of ​​TÜV Rheinland, Montserrat Velez.
Molina Hospital is certified since 2006 continuously in the International Standard ISO 9001, and for the first time, it is certified to the International Standard ISO 14001 and National UNE 179003 and UNE 179006. The center thus becomes molinense one of the first hospitals in Spain, and Murcia, to be accredited in these two standards, thus demonstrating its pioneering patient safety and infection prevention in hospitals character.
