Record books presented to the XII Prize Setenil Best Story Book Published in Spain, organized by the City of Molina de Segura (07/07/2015)

In the 12th edition of Setenil Award for Best Story Book Published in Spain, organized by the Culture Department of the City of Molina de Segura, they have exceeded all previous figures in terms of books presented, up drawing the hundreds.

So far, the most popular was the seventh edition, with 82 participants.

The 97 titles in this 12th edition were submitted by a total of 70 publishers located in 30 different provinces.

This influx is attributable, on the one hand, the popularity achieved by the award and revitalization own story as a literary genre.

Furthermore, the modest growth of the book market, the emergence of numerous independent publishing houses and the rise of desktop publishing phenomenon.

The Setenil Prize is endowed with 10,000 euros for the author of the winning entry.

The jury is chaired this year by the renowned novelist and stories Juan Bonilla and vowels act as teachers of the University of Murcia Manuel Martínez and José María Pozuelo Arnaldos Yvancos, the latter also a literary critic for ABC.

The jury is expected to issue its ruling in November.

The award will be presented in Molina de Segura in December 2015.

The previous winners of Setenil were Alberto Mendez, Juan Pedro Aparicio, Cristina Fernández Cubas, Sergi Pàmies Oscar Esquivias, Fernando Clemot, Francisco Lopez Serrano, David Roas, Clara Obligado, Ignacio Ferrando and Javier Saez de Ibarra.

The previous winners of the award Setenil were: Alberto Mendez, by The Blind Sunflowers;

Juan Pedro Aparicio, for life in white;

Cristina Fernández Cubas, poor devil by relatives;

Sergi Pàmies, for if you eat a lemon without making faces;

Oscar Esquivias by Mark of Crete;

Fernando Clemot for Tobacconists of Chiado;

Francisco Lopez Serrano, by habits of chance;

David Roas for distortions;

Clara Obligado, with book trips wrong;

Ignacio Ferrando, by the skin of strangers;

and Javier Saez de Ibarra, for Boulevard.
