The Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Molina de Segura continues during the summer with the Programme A WALK THROUGH HISTORY, who started this course 2014/15.
For it has been more than 2.00 persons belonging to different groups, primary and secondary education, associations, etc., both of Molina de Segura as other parts of the region, interested in approaching the origins of the town.
Thirty-eight have been groups that have participated in the program activities, which for two hours visiting the Center shutters, which houses a painting of the medieval city wall, the Tourist Office and an Exhibition Hall, and the Oven Museum Council and House of Folklore, unique example of architecture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, built on an old Andalusian building, and you can see an old bread oven.
Both buildings are located in the Castle District, which was populated from Iberian and Roman times with a greater presence from Arab era with the construction of the Medieval Citadel and the surrounding walls.
This program, which continues its journey during the month July also joins the tourist and museum offer already underway in the town: the Garden and the Campo de Molina, with Oven + House Museum of Folklore, the Ethnographic Museum Carlos Soriano in the hamlet of El Llano and the Center the saddle Rites and Traditions of Golf Molina, showing the uses, lifestyles and customs and help the understanding and appreciation of this area of ​​the region.
