The Cultural Association La Cruz de La Torrealta de Molina celebrates the eighteenth edition of Living Via Crucis Holy Wednesday April 1 (31/03/2015)

The staging of the Cross Living La Molina Torrealta organized by the Cultural Association La Cruz de La Torrealta, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of Molina de Segura, will take place on Holy Wednesday April 1, from 23:00 pm in the Plaza de la Malate Church and the streets of the village of Torrealta de Molina.

Has developed a program of activities to be developed around the staging of the Cross.

The passionate portrayal of Christ road to Calvary is performed on Holy Wednesday night for the eighteenth time.

More than 150 residents of La Torrealta, in period costume, directly involved in the representation of this singular act, unique in the Region of Murcia.

Live music, theater, liturgy and prayer together to commemorate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ in the fourteen Stations of the Cross, which has been added the Resurrection.

The streets of the town, only lit by the dim torchlight, make La Torrealta become Jerusalem 2000 years ago.

Hundreds of visitors and neighbors accompany Jesus with the Cross, from the Praetorian, the Gate Church to Calvary, outside the village.

The itinerary is as follows: Departure from Calle La Mola, and continues Javier Azagra Street, Church Square, Street Salvador Blázquez, Street Rio Segura, Javier Azagra Street, Street Alfred Nobel (from the pharmacy), enclosure and solar (vs. pharmacy), Ramón y Cajal Street, Street Isaac Albéniz, Plaza de la Cruz, Calle Maestro Rodrigo Gil Street Domingo, Calle Carmen Conde, and Calle García Lorca.
