The X Meeting of Bobbin Lace and Embroidery Craft of Molina de Segura, organized by the Department of Trade and Crafts of the municipality, takes place on Saturday 28 March at 17.00 pm in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
This activity is organized in collaboration with the Association of Encajeras molinense bolilleras de Molina, in order to preserve existing events in the town and share these traditions with the public.
The meeting, which is widely accepted by visitors, with the participation of about 150 people, from different parts of the Region of Murcia and surrounding areas.
The event was attended by the following associations: Association of Encajeras molinense bolilleras de Molina, bolilleras Association La Perla del Segura, Association Encajeras Santa Florentina de La Palma, Murcia Association Friends of Bun, Women's Association of Alguazas, People's University of Ceuta, Center Women Cabeza de Torres, bolilleras Abarán Artesanas Beniaján Association, Association Fil Boixet I Agulles, artisans of the Region of Murcia and other provinces of Alicante and Albacete Association.
Participants perform their craft demonstration under installed in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento tent, and made available to the visitors center accreditations and municipal tourist information.
As a novelty, a lottery among the participants of prizes given by the Teatro Villa de Molina, the Department of Equality and participating groups will be held.
The program of activities is as follows:
17.00: Reception of participants and greeting by the municipal authorities.
17.30: demo, preparing handmade lace and embroidery, with the participation of bolilleras associations throughout the Region.
20:00: farewell to the participants and close the meeting.
