Encarna Hernández (UPyD): "Our manifesto is a contract signed with the public" (26/03/2015)

UPyD in Molina de Segura has made today the presentation of the program and the electoral list of which will go to the polls next May.

His spokesman and candidate for mayor, Encarna Hernandez has defined this program, which has a set of 159 proposals, as "the binding force of a contract signed with the citizens."

Hernandez has called it a "realistic" "We are serious and we do not like to sell smoke and lie to people" program - but with very concrete and achievable goals.

According to the spokesman, "this program is the result of experience gained four years" (UPyD has two councilors at City Hall), "allowing us," he says, "transformed into political initiatives the concerns of the neighbors" .

UPyD understands its election as "a government program", in which even a new organization of municipal government is detailed, structured in 6 councils, seeking greater efficiency and streamlining local government.

This new administrative structure, according to Hernandez, will make it possible to save more than 100,000 per year, reducing full-time councilors: "when finished the legislature will be nearly half a million euros which may be used for the needs of the people," says the candidate.

The other axes of the municipal plan for Molina de Segura UPyD are: an economic policy aimed at enhancing the productive sectors of the municipality (agriculture, industry, trade ...) and create jobs, with strategic development plans and support measures and tax relief;

sustainable and oriented service improvement planning model and the quality of life of citizens, especially in villages and estates;

planning social policy through regular evaluation of needs;

revitalization of citizen participation in all areas;

promoting Molina as shopping city;

promoting sport as a means to promote community values;

addressing the concerns of young people;

and promoting cultural and leisure activities with special attention to our artists.

Encarna Hernández has detailed some specific proposals, such as the implementation of a policy of integrity management within the City, for politicians and officials, with the implementation of codes of conduct.

The goal is to prevent corruption, promote "good governance" and increase the professional ethics of public service.

"UPyD" says Hernández "will end the cronyism in access to public service and municipal companies also implemented a policy of managing human resources to avoid arbitrariness in the squad."

The candidate for mayor has announced it will create a negotiated grants and external funding, to seek alternative funding and managing municipal projects financed with EU funds or other administrations.

Likewise, propose a reduction in salary of the Mayor, which may not exceed 5 times the minimum wage.

Another measure is the creation of a neighborhood police, to improve public safety.

On the other hand, Hernandez has announced what will be the first five members of the electoral list, ratified last week at assembly.

In addition to the candidate elected in primaries, will accompany you in the following positions: (2) Eva Molina Romera, (3) Rafael Ortega Sainero, (4) Manuel Ramón Nicholas and (5) Francisco Martínez Gómez.

For Hernandez, "it is people committed to Molina and ready to represent citizens, civil society involved in the municipality, and extensive knowledge of the local administration."
