The Day for Prevention of Sexual Violence in Youth and Adolescents.
Social Networks and Use of New Technologies, promoted through IRENE Program by the Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, held on Thursday, March 26, from 17.30 to 21.00, at the Las Balsas Center Molina de Segura (on Calle Cartagena, next to Plaza of Griffins).
The activity was presented at a press conference, Tuesday March 24, by the Councillor for Equality, Reme López Paredes.
The IRENE Information Program, Training and Prevention of Sexual Violence in Youth and Adolescents develops during the course 2014-2015, and is the result of two-year agreement signed in 2014 between the City of Molina de Segura and the Institute for Women's Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, and is funded by the European Social Fund in the field of fight against discrimination Operational Programme 2007-2013.
The day is aimed at AMPAS, women's associations, neighborhood associations and interested public, and aims to raise awareness of the dimension with sexual assault of minors and adolescents, the legal status of these crimes, resources, definition of concepts, way to detect and act, new ways of committing crimes through the network and the psychological sequelae.
The program for the day is as follows:
17.30 .: Inauguration and presentation of IRENE Program.
Attending the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Equality, Reme López Paredes.
18.00 h .: presentation on sexual violence in youths and adolescents and new forms of sexual assault through Social Networks, by Carmen Tárraga Palmis, Psychologist Specialty Care Center for Women Victims of Domestic Violence (CAVI) Molina de Segura.
19.10 h .: study in the town of Molina de Segura on conceptualizing sexual violence in youth and adolescents, by Mª Dolores García Ruiz, psychologist and author of the study.
19.30 h .: Roundtable Addressing sexual violence in youth and social networking.
Moderator: Mª Dolores García Ruiz, Psychologist.
It will answer important questions in different areas concerned:
Social Scope: Educating to Prevent, by Isabel Guerrero Campoy, AMAIM Social Educator Association.
Legal Field: Are They ?, crimes ability to know what they do ?, by José María López Carrilero, Bachelor of Law.
Police Scope: Risks of new technologies, by Antonio Salcedo Carranza, Deputy Inspector of the National Police.
Family Scope: What can parents do ?, What we need to know ?, by Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, President of FAPA of Molina de Segura.
20.30 .: questions and findings.
21.00 h .: Closing.
