The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Department of Sports, has organized the Women and Sport Conference, to be held on Saturday March 14, from 10:00 pm in the Pavilion Sawmills (in Street Sawmills, s / n).
Different sororities compete in football, handball, basketball and volleyball and gymnastics will be exhibitions of the town.
At 1330 hours, will end the day with delivery of T-shirts to participants.
Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor for Equality, Reme López Paredes, and the Councillor for Sports, Sonia Carrillo Marble.
This activity is part of the IV Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, on the occasion of the commemoration of March 8, International United Nations Day for Women's Rights and Peace.
The participating teams are: Basketball Club City Molina, Molina Basketball Club, Club Deportivo Judesa Molina, indoor football Molina, Molina Club Volleyball, Gymnastics Association Molinense, Eliocroca of Lorca, Calasparra Futsal, Handball and UCAM Murcia.
The objective of this seminar is visible participation of women in sport, particularly those developing their sports in sports that are represented.
The Councillor for Equality, Reme López Paredes, expressed his "appreciation and thanks to all sports organizations and residents of Molina de Segura who work selflessly in performing these activities. Also, I would stress the importance of the involvement of young people in any act of awareness of the International United Nations Day for Women's Rights and Peace ".
