The awards ceremony of the XVI Painting Competition 2015, organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, will take place TODAY Wednesday, March 11, at 20.00 pm in the Municipal Exhibition Hall Jail (in Street Cervantes, No 5).

Attending the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Equality, Reme López Paredes.

The works submitted to the contest will be exposed in this room until the day March 31, and can be visited from Monday to Thursday at 12.00 hours to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 21.00, and Friday from 09.00 to 15.00.

The competition involved women and men over 18, born or resident in the Region of Murcia, in the categories of drawing or painting, and free theme.

The awards covered are: 1st prize, 720 euros;

2nd prize, 360 euros;

and 3rd prize, 180 euros.

Awarded ratio is:

1st Prize: Rosa Ana Martos Sitcha for Fragile.

2nd Prize: Anna Borisova, for changes.

3rd Prize: Jean Carlos Puerto Cascarano for Women Job cabbage.

Second prize: Ignacio Iglesias Flórez de Losada, for Reverie.

Second runners: Carmen Alcaraz Ortuño, by dreams.
