Pentación (Madrid) presents the play KATHIE AND THE HIPPO, Mario Vargas Llosa, starring Ana Belén, Eva Rufo, Jorge Basanta and David San José, on Friday, March 6, at 21:00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 10).
The ticket price is 18 euros.
Kathie, a woman of high society Lima, hires a university professor, Santiago Zavala, to write a book about the journey she has made in Asia and Africa.
A reflection on the origin of the stories and, as in La Chunga on fantasy and imagination with which we create stories that have not happened in reality.
The author of this theatrical text, Mario Vargas Llosa was born in Arequipa, Peru, in 1936. He graduated in Literature at the University of San Marcos in Lima and a doctorate from the Complutense University of Madrid.
His literary career came to prominence with the publication of the novel The City and the Dogs.
