The First Regional Conference on Rare Diseases occurs in Molina de Segura on Saturday, February 28, from 09.30 to 19.30, at the headquarters of the DISMO association (Avenida de Paris, No. 1), organized by the City of Molina de Sure, the Association of Disabled Molina de Segura and Rare Diseases (DISMO), the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (ERDF), the Hospital de Molina and Medical Research Foundation Molina de Segura (FEM), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Policy in the Region of Murcia and Molinense Association for Rare Diseases (AMER).
The event was presented at a press conference on Wednesday 25 February, by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, President of ERDF, Juan Carrion, the President of DISMO, Josefa Martínez Pérez, Director of the Hospital de Molina Pedro Hernandez Jimenez, and the Councillor for Health, José Antonio Carbonell Contreras.
The day's program includes the following activities:
09.30 h .: Reception and accreditation.
10.00 h .: inauguration and witness.
10.15 h .: inaugural conference on Research Perspectives on Rare Diseases genetic basis in our region, by Dr. Encarna Guillén Navarro, Coordinator of the Unit of Medical Genetics, University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
12.00 h .: Roundtable on Research and Perspectives in Pediatrics.

Moreover, on the occasion of World Rare Disease Day, the City of Molina de Segura, the Hospital de Molina, the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), the Association of Disabled Molina de Segura and Rare Diseases (DISMO) and the Molinense Association for Rare Diseases (AMER), among others, have organized the Career solidarity with hope, Each round has to be held on Sunday, March 1, at the Town Hall Square, at 11.30 hours, benefit associations of rare diseases Molina de Segura, on a circuit 500 meters in the Park Company, for an hour.
