A group of 17 young Dutch visit Murcia since last January 30, accompanied by four teachers Agrifood Training Center Wellantcollege Rikswik based in Rotterdam.
The reason for your stay in the region is the realization of a course in technical and practical training in the Integrated Center for Agricultural Training and Experience (CIFE) of Molina de Segura, on vegetable canning, preparation and processing of meat products, and obtaining and sensory analysis of virgin olive oil.
The course lasts 70 hours, is practical and is taught in English, as a means of promoting the use of this language among teachers and students of CIFE.
Besides the activities at the center, visits to agribusiness companies to meet the technological innovation applied them are also performed.
Also, are scheduled tours and activities to publicize the cities and points of cultural interest of the region and its natural spaces.
The Center Wellantcollege Rikswik is an institution that coordinates more than 20 schools in agricultural, food, livestock, forestry and gardening formation distributed throughout the Netherlands.
Centers Integrated Agricultural Training and Experience, dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, are collaborating with this institution in training and exchange of teachers and students since 1994. Most of these activities are woodcock by European mobility programs Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus.
