The regional deputy PSOE Esther Clavero, who is also Socialist candidate for mayor of Molina de Segura, Regional Assembly calls on the Council to urge the Government to sign the agreement with the Ministry of Health to provide in the Region of Murcia 016 telephone service information and legal advice to women victims of domestic violence.
Clavero has filed a motion for discussion and approval in the regional parliament, which recalls that since 2007 the Ministry of Health, through the Government Office for Gender Violence, provided that telephone service through abbreviated dialing number 016.
"In order to ensure the best possible care and coordinate the various existing resources in this area, the Ministry has signed cooperation agreements with the regional governments to ensure referral calls 016 when derived from their respective territories" explains Clavero in motion.
A collaboration agreement for the provision of telephone service 016 that have signed almost all Autonomous Communities, Murcia being one of the few that have not signed the same, holding PSOE candidate for Mayor of Molina.
That agreement calls for deriving from their territories to allow 016 women victims of domestic violence in the Region of Murcia "better access specialized care and service to improve the quantity and quality that currently are receiving, "said Clavero in his motion.
