On Wednesday December 3 at 20:00 pm in the Library Salvador García Aguilar de Molina de Segura, Manuel Moyano will present his novel Empire of Yegorov, published by Anagram, with which has resulted Herralde Finalist Award 2014. He will be accompanied Paco López Mengual, mercer and novelist, and Joseph Belmonte Serrano, poet, critic and professor.
Manuel Moyano, born in Córdoba in 1963, lives since 1991 in Molina de Segura.
With his first book, The Friend of Kafka, won the 2002 Tigre Juan Award for Best First published in Spain.
It has also given to the press, among others, the novel's alibi Devil (Tristana Prize 2006), the collection of short stories The experiment Wolberg (Murciano Book of the Year 2008), the set of micro Theatre ash and the travel book Crossing americana.
In Magical Diary, Gallery stateless and Wolf Periago has unique characters portrayed in the Region of Murcia.
He is a member of the Order of Molina de Segura meteorite.
The novel Empire of Yegorov was a finalist in the most participatory edition of Herralde Prize in its 32 year history, which was attended by nearly 1,462 works from Spain and South America, the winner being Guadalupe Nettel by After winter.
The history of Yegorov's empire started in 1967 with a Japanese expedition to the island of Papua New Guinea;
one of its components shrink a strange tropical disease that will have unpredictable consequences.
The critical Ramón Jiménez Madrid has called the work of "baroque, ironic, dazzling and always fun."
