The signing of the cooperation agreement between the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and the city of Molina de Segura for conducting external training practices took place today Friday, June 6, at the rectory UPCT.
Attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Rector UPCT Leemhuis José Antonio Franco, Vice Chancellor of Student UPCT, Francisco Martinez, and the Councillor for Employment, Sonia Carrillo Marble.
Thanks to this agreement, up to 23 students can do internships UPCT simultaneously in the Consistory.
The placements offer is already specified by municipal and university education the defendant.
Thus, the area of ​​Roads and Public Works offers three places for students of Civil Engineering, Building Engineering and Engineering Horticulture and Gardening.
In Urbanism practices may make a student of Architecture;
Employment and Finance two students from the Faculty of Business;
Tourism namesake grade two students;
New Technologies in three students from the School of Telecommunications and Environment to 10 students in Civil Engineering, Chemistry and Horticulture and Gardening, as well as the Masters in Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy, Heritage, Local Development and Risk Prevention Labor.
"What we want is for our students to develop their professional skills to work in a particular one of the services in the City of Molina de Segura project, while the institution receives practically trained worker, as most young people do practices are usually senior year, "says the Vice Chancellor for Students Francisco Martinez.
