The Municipal Group of the Socialist Party denounced the privatization process of the new Center for Child Care (CAI) La Alcayna who opened the city of Molina de Segura, published in BORM of June 3, 2014, and understand that is why enough for plenary rule on this privatization.

The Socialist Group remembers this CAI was built on municipal land, and furnished with public money and "tuned" with public funds and now returns to privatize its management and service.

The "technical specification" makes clear the privatization process of the first cycle of primary education in this area:

The City does not participate in any way or in school management, or their governing bodies, or the funding thereof, shall not grant any subsidy to operate and will not intervene in rates, the grantee shall establish and charge directly from customers, who have the status of private prices.

Under these conditions, the City ignores the operation of the CAI Alcayna and "gives" a company the power to admit or reject students without regard to public scales, without limits and without the guarantees of a public process;

and gives you the freedom to set private prices.

Furthermore, the criteria for awarding the contract is not educational or social, but "the tender offering greater amount of the fee" (55%) will be awarded.
