The Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows Procession of Silence organizes Molina de Segura Holy Thursday (15/04/2014)

The Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows of Molina de Segura organized for the twenty-ninth year, the Procession of Silence, which shows off its beautiful religious images, Maundy Thursday April 17, at 21.00.

The procession starts at the Ermita de San Roque, with images of: the Fall of Jesus of Nazareth, by Luis Salmeron;

Sorrows, molinense sculptor Gil Barnabas;

and the Holy Christ of Sorrows, head of the Brotherhood, Gil de Bernabé also work.

All this in the midst of a strict order and a poignant silence, punctuated by the sound of arrows at some points along the way.

The procession runs along Main Street, Station Street, Paseo Rosales, Street Culture, Street Pensioner, Square Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Street Consolation Square Immaculate Sepulchre Street, Main Street, ending back in the Ermita de San Roque, where the image of the Fall and the Dolorosa receive the head of the Brotherhood.

With the coming of Christ to the Plaza Sorrows Our Lady of the Assumption Church, the temple doors are opened to pray the Our Father and sing a bolt.

The Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows is based in the Hermitage of San Roque and was the first in processions at Easter molinense after restoring it in 1986, why the mother called brotherhood.

It is composed of about 420 brothers, dressed in robes of purple and black color.

Its corporate headquarters are located since 2002 in Orchard Street FAYREN.

It was founded in 1945 by the Brotherhood of Farmers of Molina de Segura.
