The City of Molina de Segura collaborates with the CEIP Maestro Francisco Bernal Martinez Cultural Week in your school garden dedicated to 2014 (14/04/2014)

The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Natural and Urban Environment, and students of Initial Vocational Training Program have collaborated with the CEIP Maestro Francisco Martinez Bernal in recycling workshops and plantations within its Cultural Week 2014 dedicated to the school garden, from 7 to 11 April.

The cultural week was dedicated this year to the 2014 school garden, to commemorate the International Year of Family Farming, through the FAO, with the theme Feeding the world, after the planet, wants to highlight the importance of this activity in which traditional foods, contributing to a balanced diet, protection of agricultural biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources are rescued.

The program this week included gardening and related to the acquisition of values ​​such as respect for biodiversity and environment and sustainable development activities.

The Department of the Environment and Urban has worked with the center in the following actions:

Environmental education activities concerning waste separation and recycling, which consist of a game with the name Echo Where waste?
