Salvador García Aguilar Library organizes various literary activities to mark International Children's Book Day (01/04/2014)

On International Children's Book Day, the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Molina de Segura, through Salvador García Aguilar Library, has organized several literary activities.

Since 1967, April 2, coinciding with the date of birth of the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, the International Borrad on Books for Young People (IBBY) promotes the celebration of International Children's Book Day in order to promote children's books and youth and encourage reading among the young.

The program of activities is as follows:

Wednesday 2 April at 18:30 in the auditorium of the Library Salvador García Aguilar (Trickle in Avenue, No. 44), meeting and book signing with children's author Marisa Lopez Soria.

Before the meeting, the writer will talk with children early reading club is reading one of his books, Los my stairs.

Marisa Lopez Soria, Albacete though born in 1956, lives in Murcia.

Its activity as a teacher led her to write children's books where he plays with the meaning and musicality of words.

Awarded in the genres of poetry, essays and fiction, has been translated into several languages, and has more than thirty books published in reputable publishers.

Thursday 3 April at 13.00 pm in the auditorium of the Colegio Los Olivos, meeting with readers of Blue Jeans, within the cycle of Writers in ink 2014.

Francisco de Paula Fernandez, better known by his pseudonym Blue Jeans is one of the authors of juvenile literature with more pull and projection in our country.

Studied journalism but childhood and adolescence was spent writing.

In 2008 he created his blog Songbook Paula, had a role in seeing the light and becoming a phenomenon of popularity and sales.

That first novel became a trilogy.

Friday, April 4 at 18:30 pm in Salvador García Aguilar Library, children's book presentation What can become of Mary valgus and illustrated by Ariel Medellín.

Valgus Mary, born and resident in Sewell Molina de Segura, is a psychologist, trained in Gestalt Therapy and Integrative Psychotherapy, and has been developed as cuentoterapeuta (the art of healing through stories).

With the story What can be taught to take an attitude of acceptance for those occasions that events do not happen as we would like.
