The Pink House Management Company (Andalusia) introduced FUEL FANDANGO CONCERT on Friday 28th February at 21.00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 10).
The entrance fee is 15 euros.
Fuel Fandango presents his second album, Thirteen Moons.
Nita and Ale Acosta pursued not revolutionary, but do something new.
The first intention may have much of pretentiousness, the second no desire for innovation and not repeat what others have already done.
So when they started in 2009 (she who came from the world of flamenco and copla; him dance music with black roots with Mojo Project) wanted to combine danceable electronic pulse with flamenco sentiment, adding to all the rock energy.
With Thirteen Moons, Fuel Fandango has gotten another element in play, pop, considered more as an attitude than a musical genre.
The formula of Cordoba Duo (live in the Andalusian city, but Ale is canary) worked from the beginning live like a shot, and, before recording their first album, had already around 80 concerts.
"We played wherever and as outside" was the slogan of the time.
With the release in 2010 of their debut album, self-titled and self-produced, the expectation was multiplied, leading them to vent their energy in places as diverse as Algeria, Dubai, Romania, France and India.
So another objective recording Thirteen Moons has been to translate the force concerts: "I think that we missed on the first album," reveals Acosta, co-producer and head of instrumentations: "In Thirteen Moons almost everything are first takes, they wanted to overproduce. tweak the models for months, but guitars and basses recorded in three days and the other three voices. "
In total, it took less than two weeks in the study of Punta Paloma (Cádiz) and five days in Madrid.
Couple good avenue if Ale focuses on the musical side, Nita's throat and hand writing letters, either in English or Castilian.
He is also responsible for the aesthetics, a fundamental element in the perception of Fuel Fandango as an international project but clear Hispanic flavor.
His was the election of Neil Krug, author of covers for Ladytron or Scissor Sisters, for the cover design, a suggestive peacock with tail folded, as in the pre-open time fan.
It is a fitting image for a disc with the strength of the rock, the energy of dance music, the character of flamenco and pop accessibility.
And so, after a summer where Fuel Fandango has excelled in the most important festivals (BBK Live Arenal Sound, Territories, and lardo Ebrovisión etc.), the group continues its tour to Thirteen Moons by theaters throughout Spain.
