The Guardian of Dreams exhibition, artist Antonio Tapia Murcia, organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Molina de Segura, opens its doors to the public from February 20 to March 22, 2014, at the Exhibition Hall Garden (in Calle Joaquín Abellan, No. 8, of Molina de Segura).
The opening ceremony took place on Thursday 20 February at 20.00, and will be attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Culture, Mariola Martinez Robles.
The exhibition can be visited: in the mornings, Thursday and Friday from 11.00 to 13.00 hours, in the evenings, Tuesday to Saturday, 17.30 to 20.30, and Sunday and Monday closed.
In this exhibition, the artist proposes a trip Murcia through toys, real friendly icons that serve children and apart from its appearance and purely recreational use for projecting future in the hands of a child.
More than fifty works Guardians make dreams, from magical realism, figurative, where the toy is reminiscent protagonist, an icon, through use, the game takes on the significance of becoming the way to deal with life, and thus toys are representations of self, and the current projection for the future.
