Two hundred students in vocational education contact 11 companies in the Youth Fair 2014 FP Molina de Segura (13/02/2014)

Young FP Fair 2014 is being held today Thursday, 13 February, in the courtyard of IES Francisco de Goya de Molina de Segura.

The Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Minister of Education, Universities and Employment in the Region of Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sánchez López, attended this event, in which two hundred students in the last cycles Vocational enter contact with 11 companies.

This action was organized by the ministries of Education, Universities and Employment and Chairman of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Molina de Segura, seeks to bring the business world to students and provide them with information and training to increase their employability.

To this end, in the IES Francisco de Goya have enabled various areas in which students attend workshops and an enterprise zone in which are represented the Estrella de Levante, Ferrovial Services, Information Technology Control and drive companies Supplies Luser, Ecocomputer, Carugil, Siemens Automation, Asenol, Bitec, Digitalia UniData and Computer Solutions.

Regional VET students participating in the conference receive information on various European programs, career opportunities or job finding techniques using new technologies.

The Minister of Education and the Mayor of Molina stressed the importance of promoting actions such as this meeting or the potential of Dual FP.

Precisely the IES Francisco de Goya hosts the training cycle Degree Systems and Automatic Control Regulation, a pioneering initiative that develops Education Estrella de Levante and whose students will be the first class of the Region of Murcia in obtaining the title in the form Dual.

The conference involved students of IES Francisco de Goya, CIFE Molina de Segura Molina Center for Professional Studies, CFP Our Lady of Salceda and IES Cañada de las Eras.

This complementary action of training to improve the employability of young people is part of the Youth in Action initiative.

In addition to the director and the mayor also attended the conference the Director General on the Prevention of Violence Against Women, Youth, Legal Protection and Reform for Children, Veronica Lopez, and the Director General of Training and Special Regime, Marta López- Briones.
