The Ethnographic Museum Carlos Soriano El Llano de Molina starts on Sunday February 9 program of activities for 2014 (07/02/2014)

The City of Molina de Segura, has launched the Program of Activities BETWEEN THE FIELD, THE GARDEN AND THE CITY, where the possibility of knowing the Interpretation Center Albarda Rites and Traditions of Golf Molina, Carlos Ethnographic Museum offers Soriano El Llano de Molina and Oven Museum Council and House of Folklore.

Around these centers have developed three tourist programs that collect for the garden paths, flow paths, through the countryside, Entre Sierras, and the city, Molina Medieval.

The Department intends for the Ethnographic Museum on Sunday 9 February, from 11.30 to 13.30 hours, the visit and workshop masks in the Ethnographic Museum Carlos Soriano from the hamlet of El Llano de Molina.

Carlos Soriano The Ethnographic Museum is located in the old manor that this lawyer had in his agricultural colony of El Llano de Molina de Segura and was opened in May 2003.

Its activities are conducted Monday through Thursday for arranged groups (schools, associations, cultural centers, etc.., The municipality and the region), and the second Sunday of the month, for the population in general, from 11.30 to 13.30 hours hours.

The City of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works, rehabilitated the building and started this center.

The complex is formed by the manor house, the adjacent chapel that was part of the colony, an area of ​​agricultural crops, to show the typical products of the area, a water wheel on the canal in operation and declared of Cultural Interest and, since 2011, a hall for temporary exhibitions.

The manor house has two floors.

On the ground floor, where we found the entrance features a tinajero, under the stairs, and some archaeological pieces from surveys conducted in the town since 1992.

Turning to find different kitchen utensils that were part of this stay and some collections of ceramics and glass.

Passing through the courtyard of the house arrived at the temporary exhibition hall where proposals from different artists from the town develop.

The High Ground collects the first room where we see different costumes.

The next room is composed of different models where huertanas work and some artifacts such as wells, mills ... The last room recreates a bedroom of the late nineteenth century are collected.
