Rendering of a judgment made by students in the program 'Educating for Justice' (28/01/2014)

The Director General of Educational Planning and Attention to Diversity, Begoña Iniesta, today visited the Early Childhood Center and Elementary San Antonio, Molina de Segura to check the operation of the program 'Educating for Justice' and attend the performance of a trial conducted by the students themselves.

Next to the judge of the High Court of Justice of Murcia, Joaquín Angel Domingo, Iniesta informed students of the third cycle of Primary Education for the purpose of this initiative is the creation of 'Peace Education Judges' in schools for having students who voluntarily and peacefully resolve the problems between them.

Thus, the coexistence in schools and colleges is improved, and students acquire a body of knowledge and values ​​such as tolerance and dialogue to contribute to a fairer society with responsible citizens.

In the eighth edition of the program 'Educating for Justice' over 3,000 students from 65 schools in the region, representing an increase over last year with the participation of 55 schools and 2,240 students participating.

Along with Iniesta and Joaquin Begoña Angel Domingo, also participated in the visit the Councillor for Education Molina, Mariola Martinez.
